Each year I make quite a few Christmas cards and for people with children I love to make shaker cards. These brightly colored sequins in Christmas themed shapes were a big hit all around. We are blessed with many grandchildren and for the younger ones I make a card each - all different ones, of course! The shaker cards were a first and my, what success! Even their cats loved them!
In general, dear fellow card makers, make sure to send (grand-)children their own cards. Kids just love getting their own mail! Write as much as you can as this helps children to learn the joy of reading. Lots of fun for us and quite educational for the kids
